This article is pretty straight forward, as I look around I see temptation for both men and women. Clearly satan tempts both sexes. For women it’s the magazines, and the make up, and all the other beauty supplies women are offered (the choices increase by the second…). But I also see a growing demand in mens cosmetics, which scares me. I don’t know about you, but personally I don’t want to see other men in make up. Ever.

Men are easily tempted as well, Lust is one of the biggest battles we as men have to face, it’s all around us and it doesn’t go away. Personally I try my best as a Christian man to avert my eyes from anything that might tempt me. I do this for a few reasons, one is my obligation as a Christian man to not lust after women. Second, is that I’m saving myself for my future wife, whoever that might be. And third because I simply shouldn’t be a pervert. Did I cover them all? I think so.

From the male perspective, I encourage you to turn your eye from that girl you see in front of you with a low cut top, or whatever the situation may be; Girls this involves you too, try and be modest. And to girls, try to #1, not believe what you read in the magazines. But also don’t care too much about your appearance, a lot of the things you do us guys don’t even notice. I wrote an article on this in depth down below.

This is just something that I’ve noticed as a difference between men and women and I hope you find this of interest to you.

“Where did God come from?” Is one of the most frequently  asked questions skeptics have to ask about Christianity. Just where did this God come from, everyone has a birthday right? Well in the Bible it doesn’t talk much about this issue so let me preface this article with that. There isn’t a book on this topic in the Bible. There’s more, simple verses, though, I personally believe they answer the question very well. I’m going to list some verses:

“Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

Psalms 90-2

“For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Psalms 100-5

“His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 3:10-11

“The eternal God is your refuge”

Deuteronomy 33:27

I think You get the point, the Bible makes it very clear that God is eternal. He wasn’t born, well technically he was, as Jesus Christ. But God is eternal, he has always been. Now some of you are thinking right now that’s crazy talk, but have you considered the Atheistic belief? The Atheist, or Secular Humanist worldview says that we came from nothing. That nothing exploded, and created a perfectly balanced universe.

Remember that not only is God eternal, but his love is too. So repent turn from a sinful life to a righteous one and glorify God!

There is a huge difference between what Men view as attractive, and what Women are told is beautiful. Let me preface this article by saying that I am a 16 year old male talking. I’m not some Cosmo Woman who thinks she knows what Men find attractive, I’m a man and I know what’s attractive.

First of all, the make up, guys don’t care how much make up you can put on your face, most of the time we look at that and think “what does she look like under the cake of make up?”. We don’t care about how long your eyelashes are, no guy notices. We don’t care how much eye make up you put on; mascara? I don’t even know what that is! No guy is interested in your eyes definition, how they make your face look; We don’t know what you have on in the first place!

To impress a man here’s what you need to do.

1. Don’t wear tonnes of make up, keep it simple and tasteful.
2. Don’t be trashy, unless you want the wrong attention from guys dress sensibly
3. Keep your hair long, nothing turns a Man off more than dating another Man.
4. That’s it!

There really isn’t allot that you need to know, because there isn’t allot that men look for, all we want is to see your true beauty. Ladies in all seriousness, don’t buy into all of the Cosmo magazine articles or whatever other magazine you read. Celebrities put on a lot of make up, it doesn’t mean us men will jump for them if we see them. Please don’t wear tonnes of make up it just looks trashy. Keep your hair long! No guy wants to go out with a Man! And that’s it, there isn’t anything more to it.

The current “young” generation, the one I’m growing up in seems to think that the less clothing the better. This is a dangerous thought however. Simply put, if you want the wrong attention from guys, wear less clothing. I say this because being a teenage guy myself I can tell you, as a Girl, that guys think only to use girls who show off too much skin. Now if I understand Girls enough, I know that girls want to be loved, and when they dress this way they think that somehow they are going to gain the love of a man. Wrong statement.

Unfortunately Guys between the ages of 13-25, think of sexual interests above love, more often than not. Now maybe you want that attention, personally I would doubt that, that is up to you as the Girl. As the Girl you are also in control of the situation. If you want to go the whole way with a Guy, that’s up to you (I would encourage you to take the Christian path) but I can practically guarantee that he has achieved his goal if you go all the way with him.

It all depends on how you dress ladies, if you dress modestly you will attract the men who really care about you, if you don’t, the likely situation is that you will be used. I’m not trying to be mean I’m just giving you a male perspective, I hope this is encouraging to you to dress more modestly. Because the more modest you are the less we as men will be tempted to sin, for the lord said he considers Lust to be Adultery.

We all think we’ve been in love at one point or another in our life, maybe you were in love, I can’t judge your relationship with someone . What I can tell you is that more times than you think your love isn’t actually love it’s lust. Lust is a hard thing to suppress, it’s like a black hole sucking at you, it’s like someone strapped bricks to you and asked you to walk up a mountain. It’s hard, to say the least that lust is hard to figure, it’s a constant battle and most of the time it wins. Thinking about that girl you saw at the beach or at the Mall, it’s hard not too at least from a guys perspective.

But true love is eternal, true love comes from God and not some playground fling you had with a Girl. For God says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. God’s love is eternal, real and never breaks even if you desert him, live a lustful life and act like he does not exist. He will still love you.

Now at this point the Atheists bring up the whole, “well if he love’s us why would he throw us into hell if we don’t follow him?”, but isn’t that obvious? Why bring the non believer into the believers club? The Lord says take up your cross and follow him. If you don’t want to do that, that’s your own choice but don’t expect his sympathy about it when you reach death. The Lord said “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24.

Think about who you devote your love to, and whether or not the love is genuine or not, because God is the only one who’s love can’t be broken. No matter what you do, say or have done and said, God still love’s you and you need to know that. God love’s YOU. And never forget it.
